In ancient Egypt, Chamomile was considered so precious that the high priest of Tutankhamen compared the sunny, daisy-like flowers to the sun and subsequently dedicated Chamomile to their sun god. Experienced gardeners think of Chamomile as a ‘plant Doctor’ herb – as it is believed that it has a remedial and healthy effect on neighboring plants.
